摘要: Breeding lines C29-A7 and PMR Honeydew, and 'Chilton' were used as donor parents in crosses with 'Kalakesel' and 'Greenqueen' Hami-melons. Breeding tines 6-13, 64 and 6-1 resulted from single backcrosses to their respective Hami-melon parent followed by selection during inbreeding for resistance to powdery mildew, downy mildew, gummy stem blight and a root rot of unknown origin. Lines 6-13 and 64 have intermediate resistance to powdery mildew and downy mildew; line 6-1 has intermediate resistance to gummy stem blight. Line 1-21, selected from the cross of line 64 x 'Blacksweet' Hami-melon, is late maturing and is suited for open-field production; it is highly resistant to powdery mildew, has intermediate resistance to downy mildew, and is tolerant of the root rot. Line 1-45, selected from a cross of line 6-13 x 'R. Hong-xincui' Hami-melon, is for greenhouse production.
